  1. In my previous article, I have discussed a lot of AirPlay and DNLA action with AirPin for Ouya. But what if you don’t have an Apple phone? What if you got a Android phone or even a laptop which is running Google Chrome? This is where installing another service onto your Ouya called “CheapCast” will aid you in your multi-platform streaming woes.

  3. From last week, Google began paving the way to run Android apps on Chrome Operating System through the project named "App Runtime for Chrome", but the release came with a lot of limitations – it only supported certain Android apps and on Chrome OS only. At the launch, initially only 4 Android apps – Vine, Evernote, Duolingo and Sight Words – were added to the Chrome Web Store.

  7. With the advancement of web technologies, it is not surprising that the web and web applications are increasingly playing an important part of our experience on the computer. In the coming week, Google is releasing its first Chromebooks - netbooks which are based completely on a cloud OS and in which the traditional desktop has been replaced by the web browser. Mozilla too has released the first concept of something along that line.

  8. Google’s Chrome browser historically has looked like just another side project for the company. Sure Chrome is a speedy browser. Sure Google has garnered impressive market share in a short time. And yes Google gets to push browser development a bit. But the real importance of Chrome—and why Google is marketing the browser so heavy around the world—boils down to the lifetime value of a Chrome user.

  9. RSS makes it possible for me to check 100s of sites a day. I only actually implicitly go and read two, everything else goes through the RSS reader. If I didn’t have RSS then I wouldn’t bother keeping an eye on that many sites in the first place. Because me and you—dear technical readers—don’t have to suffer that routine anymore, it’s not reason that everybody else should. Bringing all the news updates straight to the user every day is a great killer feature that vendors should be waving from the fronts of their home pages! Browser vendors talk about their software helping users get the most out of the great ’Web; right next to “browsing”, RSS should be the second most important feature of browsers!
